Eurodoc's annual conferences

Background and Aims

Since 2001, Eurodoc convenes to a international conference for young researchers every year in Spring. The aim of the Eurodoc conference is to provide the framework for young European researchers to meet with European political and economical leaders and to engage in a fruitful discussions on the construction of the European Research and Higher Education Areas.

In 2010, the Eurodoc conference was part of a series of events in the framework of the summit of ministers for responsible for higher education who came to Vienna to reflect on one decade of reforms in Higher Education in the framework of the Bologna Process and finalise a communiqué.

Given the participation of young researchers from all over Europe and from multiple disciplines, Eurodoc’s conferences constitute a unique occasion for interdisciplinary communication and networking.
